Triumphant Transitions, Inc. (TNT) is a not-for-profit supportive service organization that provides image and professional development services to men, women, and youth in rehabilitation and transition to successful independent living. Our mission is to encourage and inspire self-esteem, total image and lifestyle transformation to our clients by providing complimentary salon, spa and grooming services, in addition to life empowerment workshops designed to stimulate successful independent living. This is achieved through community outreach and social service collaborations that result in individual and community empowerment.

Triumphant Transitions, Inc. was launched on Valentine's Day 2005 and has served several hundred clients, including Hurricane Katrina survivors, with grassroots efforts within five years of service. Clients in transition to successful independent living have experienced our unique service in Gary, Merrillville and Indianapolis, Indiana and Chicago, Illinois. The impact of the organization and genuineness of community service has been featured in several newspapers and CBS 2 Chicago News. Triumphant Transitions, Inc has also partnered in various community service efforts including a Back to School Rally that served over 300 youth in Gary, IN, a spa day for Hurricane Katrina survivors and a wig drive sponsorship supporting the American Cancer Society of Northwest Indiana.

The vision of Gary native LaTrice L. Edwards, is a true revelation of purpose for the professional makeup artist and entrepreneur. Edwards, a Ball State University graduate with a B.S. degree in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising, has years of experience in corporate retail merchandising. Her creative flair and entrepreneurial spirit enabled her to realize and operate in her God given gift of makeup artistry, where she has worked professionally for seven years. Edwards' work has been seen on major films and television networks including, FOX television series "Prison Break," "Public Enemies," directed by Michael Mann, "The Dark Knight," directed by Christopher Nolan and academy award nominated films "Flags of Our Fathers," directed by Clint Eastwood, and the hit Broadway play "Wicked", in addition to working with several notable figures and celebrities. However, her true shining stars are clients served through Triumphant Transitions, Inc. Edwards was honored with an Alumni Award of Achievement in recognition of her professional accomplishments and voluntary service from the Ball State University Alumni Association.  "Rolling Out" Magazine featured Edwards in their national entertainment and community publication. Her vision to empower people to make triumphant transitions in life regardless of their past obstacles and environment is destined to have a powerful global impact. Triumphant Transitions mission to encourage all to "Let the power within explode" through love and beauty is fulfilled through a volunteer team of beauty professionals and generous supporters who share interest in Edwards' vision and purpose.
